Kent is also an established author both independently and with his wife of 40 years, Davidene. Kent has a business background in several different fields including product distribution, real estate, venture capital and consulting.

Shortly after, Kent went into the distribution business with his brothers where he worked as Owner, President, and CEO at Jacks Merchandising and Distribution from 1972 to 1997. After losing the entire business in the first 17 months of operation, they built it into a national distribution firm over the next 24 years. In 2002, Kent founded American Health Diagnostics, a medical distribution and marketing company that has received awards such as Distributor of the Year for Cardinal Health (2004). Kent has spoken at numerous international Christian gatherings including Amsterdam (1986, 2000), Lausanne II in Manila (1989), and Asian Church Leaders Conference in Singapore (2006). He has served on the board of the Navigators for 20 years, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Integris Hospital and other charitable organizations.

Kent and his wife Davidene reside in Oklahoma with their 3 children and 8 grandchildren. The focus of Kent’s personal interests and hobbies are his family and the travel he does both inside and outside the business world.
