Regent University is launching the first Franchise MBA Program in America. Dr. John Mulford, who was the Dean of Regent’s Graduate School of Business is launching this ‘first ever’ MBA program in Franchising.  Tom Noon, former President of Sona Med Spa’s in America, will be joining Dr. Mulford and Os Hillman for the upcoming Franchising Teleseminar with Marketplace Leaders.

There are more than 900,000 franchised business establishments in America, which provide more than 11 million jobs, or 8.1% of the national workforce in America. It is estimated that for every $3 dollars spent in retail, $1 is spent in a franchised business. The total impact franchising has on our economy represents more than $2.1 trillion dollars.

With so many people looking for jobs, the entrepreneurial spirit is alive in America, and opportunities abound to ‘create your own economic opportunity’ through Franchising.  It used to be that owning your own home was the primary investment vehicle for most families.  These days a growing trend is owning your own business first as a vehicle for cash flow generation and equity appreciation.  Franchising is the most utilized business format for people to get into business ownership.
