In 1997, Atlanta businessman Os Hillman began writing a daily e-mail devotional featuring 4-minute meditations on faith and work life. For men and women in the workplace, this was just what they needed: practical help in applying their faith to their work life; encouragement to live out their faith; empowerment to be more effective in their jobs; support to become powerful witnesses at work; and examples of others who experienced the presence of God at work. It has since become one of the fastest growing e-mail devotions on line. Now Hillman has written his second book of devotions. TGIF includes 365 all-new daily meditations, plus a bonus topical index to find devotions that relate to specific topics such as motives, handling disappointments, adversity, integrity, finances, decision making and much more. Whether for individual quiet times, Bible study groups or workplace groups, these daily devotions will help men and women fulfill God’s call on their lives in the workplace.

“Those of us in the workplace need frequent reminders to keep God first. Like manna that nourished God’s people in the wilderness, Os Hillman’s new book will feed your heart, mind and spirit each day with timeless truth and rich perspective.”

-John D. Beckett, author, Mastering Monday: A Guide to Integrating Faith and Work and CEO, Beckett Corporation

“TGIF has been a daily inspirational and transformational tool for many years now that God has used in my life particularly with the scriptural application in a workplace context. We have also used TGIF to daily encourage the members of the Coca-Cola Christian Fellowship to apply their faith in the workplace!”

-Steve Hyland, Director of Retail Merchandising, Coca-Cola North America

“Great movements often produce great leaders. Os Hillman is one such leader in the burgeoning workplace ministry movement in America and around the world. Investing your devotional time each day with Os through his all new TGIF will pay dividends for decades to come. I recommend it wholeheartedly.”

-Mark Cress, President/CEO Corporate Chaplains of America

2 reviews for TGIF Today God is First Vol. 2, by Os Hillman

  1. June Hendricks

In the last 2 years God has been giving me a much greater “world view of His Kingdom,”and when I heard you & Lance Wallnau on TBN, I knew I had been on the
right track. As I have shared this message, and now sharing more of your books, it has been awesome to see the faces of “His Change Agents” light up when they realize their potential value in
the Kingdom of God, seeing themselves as His weapon against the enemy, when their lives are surrendered and in the hand of God. I am a volunteer Chaplain at
Limon Correctional Facility, Limon, Colorado. Praise God for men of God like you and Lance Wallnau. Taking this to others in DOC and of course in my own church and community. Blessings, Chaplain June Hendricks.

Every devotional helps get through my week day. I read his devotions every morning. I read them on line and from this book. I even read them on weekends. Helps me so much.
